Working With Shelby

Your numbers,
made simple.

I explain your numbers the way you’d walk a new guy through a job: plain English, what matters, what to do next. Every month you’ll know where the money came from, where it went, and what it means for your next move.

How We Work Together

01
The first conversation

Tell me where things stand.

We talk through your business, your numbers, and where you want to go. You get a straight answer on whether we’re a fit.

02
Getting started

Find what needs fixing.

We review your books and how money moves through your business, including QuickBooks and the systems you already use. You get a clear picture and priorities.

03
Building the foundation

Clean up. Catch up. Connect.

Depending on scope, we tackle cleanup, connect jobs to invoicing and books, and explore Ramp if it fits. Your plan sets the sequence and timeline.

04
Looking ahead

Make the next move with confidence.

CFO clients review cash flow, profitability, and budgets. We work through hiring, pricing, equipment, and slow-season scenarios together.

05
The ongoing rhythm

A financial partner on your team.

Your service sets the rhythm: reconciled books and reports, with monthly strategy reviews for CFO clients. Clear expectations. Straight answers.

Is this a fit?

You want a partner.
And you’re ready for the truth.

You want to understand your numbers, make decisions on data, and value real communication. You see financial strategy as an investment. If you’re looking for a cheap, quick fix, we probably aren’t the ones for you.

Before you ask

Straight
answers.

Do I have to leave my current bookkeeper or CPA?

No. Fractional CFO clients can keep their existing bookkeeper. Accurate bookkeeping is required, and No Bull Books bookkeeping can be added separately. Your CPA continues to handle tax advice and filing.

Do you work with roofers only?

Roofers, contractors, construction, and home service businesses. We understand projects, schedule changes, crews, and seasonal swings.

I use ProLine, Ramp, or something else. Can you work with that?

QuickBooks Online, ProLine, and Ramp are part of the work we do. Bring your current setup to the call and we’ll talk through what needs to connect and what makes sense for your business.

How fast do you respond?

Our client list is small and intentional. You have a financial partner on your team, and we’ll agree on communication and response expectations when we start.

What does it cost?

The Assessment is $997 once. Bookkeeping starts at $500/month, and Fractional CFO starts at $2,500/month. Your flat fee reflects your business structure, complexity, volume, and services. No hourly billing to ask a question.

Can you cuss around here?

Yes. You can be yourself here. Let’s keep the numbers clean.

Less guessing. More growing.

There’s already enough bull
in running a business.
Your numbers shouldn’t
be one of them.
